What advice would you give your younger self?
Be brave and challenge yourself, don't settle for status quo.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
One of my favorite vacation spots is Kauai because it has the most beautiful mountains and ocean scenery.
What made you want to pursue a career in nursing?
I initially wanted to pursue a career as a cardiothoracic surgeon but when I spent time shadowing in the cardiac ICU and observed the skill and compassion of the nursing staff I knew that was my calling.
What book(s) should every nurse read?
"Change your questions, Change Your Life," by Marilee Adams.
What is a fun fact many people may not know about you?
I was a competitive gymnast.
